The borehole RIM2 system can be
deployed either underground or above ground to delineate ore
reserves between boreholes. Typical applications are to prove ore
continuity between boreholes or to delineate fault boundaries. The
photos below show the RIM2 system deployed in a Queensland
underground base metal mine.

Here the tools were deployed in a drill hole fan with hole angles from
40 to 90 degrees. Borehole water temperature here was around 55
degC!

The image below shows an example tomogram from a base metal mine. The
high attenuation area is a pod of massive sulphide not intersected
by either drill hole.
